Morocco Expedition
- help me to help others
Thankyou to
for kindly donating towards my expedition.
The Asni honey project is a
Moroccan association that aims to improve the social and environmental
conditions around the village area of Asni, situated in the High Atlas Mountains
in Morocco.
I am taking part in an
expedition to Morocco over Easter as part of group of seventeen students
aged 16-17 from Woldgate College with Outlook Expeditions. There are two main
objectives, the project side, whereby we will spend time living alongside a local
community whilst participating in the Asni honey project, this could consist of
anything from construction work to helping at the local school. There is also a
physical challenge, where we will be climbing the highest mountain in Northern
Africa, Mount Toubkal.
In order to get to Morocco and
help in the Asni honey project, i must fundraise all the money; me and the team
will be bag packing in the local supermarkets running up to Christmas and
hosting a Morocco evening with food and entertainment. I will also be doing a
20 mile sponsored walk (the Beverley 20) and hosting a charity evening at
Joffco's Restaurant (all proceeds going towards my expedition).
