evening of enchantment unfolded at Joffco’s last Saturday night.

Joffco’s
and her guests fell under the spell of world renowned magician,
Marc Oberon. In
the presence of this magic maestro (who had only just returned from performing
25 shows in China days before his appearance in HOSM), guests were witness to
up close and highly captivating sorcery.
Marc
Oberon was invited to surprise Sue Taylor (a local regular of Joffco’s) on her
birthday after a hearty meal. Not only did he perform some spell binding
entertainment, including levitation, mind reading and making objects appear out
of nowhere, but he successfully convinced a magician’s worst nightmare, the
disbelievers and the sceptics, by astounding them with his magical powers.
As
someone who has watched acts similar to Marc’s on television, I always doubted
the believability of such feats, but now I, and I think it is safe to say my
colleagues and our guests that evening, are now magic converts. A big thank you
to Marc, and Sue for letting us join in on the supernatural!
